Five Points South
Five Points South is one of the most historic neighborhoods in Birmingham connecting downtown to affluent suburbs.
With immense potential to become a thriving entertainment destination, Orchestra Partners has focused on this neighborhood due to its energy, historic character, walkability and reputation as a premier entertainment destination. Through several redevelopment projects in this area, we hope to create experiences that increase visitor foot traffic with a mix of retail and entertainment spots. John Boone, our principal and co-founder, serves on the Five Points South Alliance board, a community development organization working to revitalize the neighborhood.
Five Points Lane

The Five Points Lane project created a unique, urban experience through connectivity and utilizing existing space.
This 10,000 square foot space in the heart of Five Points creates an outdoor market environment, with a recovered alley connecting 20th Street to a bar space made of shipping containers. Tenants like Bay Leaf and Panache by Domestique Coffee create great options for residents and UAB students.
The project opened in late 2019. Phase II of this project will include the adjacent building by opening its storefront onto the alley.
Studio Arts Building
1034 20th St S, Birmingham, AL 35205
Located on one of the five corners in Five Points South, the Studio Arts Building was once home to franchises and a nightclub.
Orchestra Partners acquired the 11,000 square foot building to add a tenant mix favorable to the community and future growth of the community.
